Notes for Submitting Images for inclusion in the Galleries
For digital workers the process is easy.
If you shoot in RAW then convert your selected images to the highest quality jpeg image.
Don't worry about having very large files, the gallery software will take care of those details.
If you shoot in jpeg simply copy the finished image.
Rename the files in the following way:-
"picture_title"_"photographer".jpg
Avoid using spaces or any other punctuation marks other than the underbar and keep the whole file name to a reasonable length. Some systems can truncate long file names.
Once you have compiled a folder of the images you wish to submit, copy the folder and images onto a CD or DVD
and send them to the Webmaster. Ring or email first (details on the Contacts page).
If you are compiling a whole gallery for your club or event, name the folder as you would wish the gallery to be named.
For Film worker you need a little extra effort.
Once you have selected the images to submit you will need to have the transparency or negative scanned, at a push you can scan a print.
Scan at the highest resolution and save the files as jpeg.
The rest of the instructions regarding naming the files and actual submission are as described above in the digital section.
