PAGB Inter-Federation Print Competitions 2026

The Competition was Judged on Saturday 20th June by 

• David Gibbins ARPS EFIAP/b BPE5 APAGB, 
• Ralph Duckett MPAGB EFIAP APAGB, and 
• Ralph Snook DPAGB ARPS EFISAP/s 

The competition was for prints in three categories (Colour, Monochrome, and Nature) with each federation ranked and 10 individual awards (best, three judge's choices, and six ribbons in each section.

Up against fourteen other federations, N&EMPF achieved a credible fifth, equal seventh, and equal fifth, whilst 7 club members achieved 9 acceptances, two PAGB Ribbons, and a Silver Medal.

Colour Prints
​Congratulations to The Midlands Counties Photographic Federation, The Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union, and The East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies, who took first, second, and third places respectively—with N&EMPF coming a very credible fifth after the Scottish Photographic Federation.

Monochrome Prints
Congratulations to the The Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union, The East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies, and The Midland Counties Photographic Federation who took first, second, and third places respectively—with N&EMPF coming equal seventh.

• Brian Stephenson—'Set Point Serve'
• Brian Stephenson—'The Backstreet Cobbler'
• Margaret Roberts—'Angelic'

Nature Prints
Congratulations to The Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union and The Midlands Counties Photographic Federation, who took first and second places respectively. N&EMPF came equal third (two points off equal second), tying with Surrey Photographic Association.

Special congratulations to Gianpiero Ferrari who received a Judges' Award and Silver Medal for his image 'Scarlet Tiger Moths', and to Steve Walters who received a PAGB Ribbon for his image 'Black Tailed Godwits Locking Bills'. ​

​Congratulations also to the two members from N&EMPF clubs who had other work accepted:

• Trevor Lane—'White Tailed Eagles'
