N&EMPF Audio-Visual Competition 2024

The 6th Audio Visual Competition, organised by the North & East Midlands Photographic Federation, was held on Sunday 24th March in the South Muskham & Little Carlton Village Hall.

Thirty-five people attended the event, which was very encouraging, especially as we were in a new venue. Entries were fractionally down on last year but there were some good quality sequences.

Our judge this year was Jeff Mansell CPAGB/AV, whose excellent comments helped make it an enjoyable day. 

The winner of the narrative section this year was David Cudworth, Rolls-Royce Derby PS, with his intriguing sequence “The Bessie Stone” about the murder of a young girl in 1817.

Alan Tyrer, Cleethorpes CC, won the best sequence in the Music, Poetry and Song section and the Audience vote for his outstanding sequence "Remembrance".
