Our judge this year was Malcolm Imhoff FRPS FACI(M), whose excellent comments helped make it an enjoyable day. The winner of the narrative section this year was David Gibbins, Beeston CC, with his intriguing sequence “Nobody Knows Why” about the wreck of the Admiral Von Tromp at Saltwick Bay, Whitby. To this date nobody can understand why it happened. The winner of the Photo Harmony section, and the Audience Vote, was Alan Tyrer, Cleethorpes CC, with his outstanding sequence “A Foretaste of Heaven” – where all the images were taken of the la Sagrada Familia, Barcelona.
